A reminder to all members about some basic health and hygiene rules in the club - Please ensure you use a sweat towel to wipe down the equipment in the gym and also shower before using the pool, sauna and steam. If you do forget your sweat towel, there are cleaning towel and wipes provided.
We've also been asked by a number of members to mention pool etiquette. There seems to be a growing number of members walking in the pool in the medium and fast lanes whilst other members are trying to swim. We appreciate that walking in the pool is good exercise, however, we would also ask that this is limited to the General Lane.
Finally, for those members who use talcum powder in the changing rooms we would kindly ask that they consider others and clear the powder up after use.
Summer Studio Timetable
The Summer Studio Timetable came into place from July 26th. You can pick up your new copy from Main Reception or visit our website to download a copy.
We would ask all attendees to remember to let the reception team know when you have arrived for a class and to ring the club to cancel your space if you are unable to attend so we can offer a space to someone else. If you are on a waiting list and we have your mobile number you will receive a text offering you a space if one becomes avaialble. It's important you let us know if you would like to accept.
We have two new Boot Camps starting during August and September. Sergeant Price will be starting his course on Monday 2nd August for six weeks and Sergeant Adams will be starting his on Wednesday 22nd September. Our Junior Swimming Lessons have finished for the Summer but will start again in September. We run courses on a Thursday lunchtime (1.30pm and 2.00pm) and throughout Saturday (9.30am until 1.45pm). The lessons run through the ASA awards and are for children over 2 years six months.
